Packetization & Aggregation Integration Collateral OCT8304 Evaluation / Development Platform The OCT8304 Evaluation/Development Platform allows a customer to evaluate and begin development on the OCT8304 device, API and Probe Tool. It consists of a full sized PCI card that resides in a customer supplied Windows NT/2000 PC. The PCI card has a standard H.100 interface, 2 handset connections, a 10/100 Ethernet port, an ATM155 UTP port, and an ATM/POS fiber SONET OC-3 port. Examples are provided to bring up the device and create voice connections between the various interfaces using the different protocols supported by the device. The customer is able to easily create their own code using the provided software environment. Besides providing a quick method for a customer to familiarize themselves with the capabilities and usage of the device the platform can be used to isolate and test system issues. The entire API is usable on the platform and code can be developed to exercise any of its features.
