Teridian multilayer chip bead comes in 0402 size

Teridian Corp. has developed what it claims is the industry's smallest multi-layered chip bead - the MMZ0402 - that measures 0.4-by-0.2mm. Seventy percent smaller than the company's 0603-size chip beads, the product features a full monolithic structure of conductive material and ferrite material that are based on the company's material technology and multilayer technology.
The MMZ0402 is offered in three variations with impedance rating running at 10-, 70-, and 120 ohms at 100MHz; dc resistance of 0.5-, 0.8-, and 1 ohms; and rated current of 100-, 75-, and 50mA, respectively. Lead-free, the devices also enable surface-mount applications with lead-free solder.
